Description:

I thought it would be valuable to explain the basics of what a transitional fossil is, since Creationists and non-Creationists both tend to confuse them with intermediate fossils, or even imaginary and impossible fossils. First I wish to quote from a Creationist web site, from two ignorant cultists who call themselves quote "the good reporters" unquote. That web site has a very odd web page that is called quote "A Creationist's Challenge To Evolutionists" unquote, though no where is the word "evolutionists" defined. If you are interested in the bogus so-called challenge, you can view the video on YouTube made by an idiot named skeptic antidote (imagine calling oneself an antidote to an antidote-- that is like being an antidote to penicillin). http://tinyurl.com/34rtq9

"I wonder why he'll do that, but he won't feed the millions of starving children of the world?" Because manipulating events on the earth on a massive scale like that would do 2 things: 1) enslave mankind - God does not want us to be slaves 2) contradict his requirement that a person must have a willingness to believe in him before he reveals himself to them personally. ;) Think about it. There is much to learn.

Sure was nice of Jesus to hold your tire on like that. I wonder why he'll do that, but he won't feed the millions of starving children of the world?

"This is called the Law of Attraction, and is why prayer can sometimes help. It's not God who is helping her, it's all of the people at your church, and the power of their minds." So now humans are supernatural but God is not? Oh boy. You've blown a gasket.

Six yrs ago my vehicle began to shimmy on the highway at 70 mph on the way home from work. I prayed that Jesus would keep me safe until I got home, fearing the frontend would come apart as I drove. 7 miles later, as I was driving 25 mph, 50 YARDS FROM HOME, the tierod fell completely off and I easily steered into a parking lot. Had it come off 30 seconds earlier, the vehicle would have lept off the highway into trees and probably killed me. That's the God you call hateful and vengeful.

Last Sunday, my best friend had church members gather around her and pray over her too. She is a stroke victim who has been suffering continuous headaches for a long time. We had been worrying that this was a precursor to another stroke. She has not had a headache since. This is the God you call hateful and vengeful.

"how can you know so LITTLE about your very own faith" You speak from ignorance of my life and faith. My best friend's niece was born with badly crossed eyes. When she was 12 yrs olf, the church congregation gathered around her, placed their hands on her, and prayed with tears. This child awoke the next morning with perfectly aligned eyes. That's the God you say is vengeful and hateful.

"Did it ever occur to you that when you go to church and pray to Jesus...that he has no idea who the fuck you're praying to?" You're deluded. I have a personal relationship with him. He teaches me, leads me to things, and speaks to me. He does the same thing in my church. He has performed miricles in my life as well, and i know others.

"Why is the God of the OT a vengeful tyrant and the God of the NT a peace-loving hippie?" Your generalizations are gross exaggerations. God in the OT was exceedingly merciful. He gave mankind a 2nd chance, made a point of sacrifice instead of death, and rewarded the faithful. And Christ told us that love of the world would seperate us from God.

"Why does my current perception of God parallel Santa Claus?" Because you dilike God's sence of justice because it gets in the way of your ability to life a sinful life without having a concience about it.
