fdfdkfnd ::: Favorites very interesting view, and i can only agree with you this is a beautiful movie about growing up which is best seen in the final scene of the movie when her father tells her "a new home and a new school. it is a bit scary" and she replies "i think i can handle it" it is the whole adventure that made her less afraid of challenges before her 07-09-09 20:11:07 __________________________________________________
redsedas ::: Favorites Thanks for explaining some of this scene to others, that's very interesting. As for Chihiro on the train, I think your right, she seems very determined to continue on her path and is very courageous on her way. The art shown in this scene is beautifully expressed and the way its conveyed to the viewer can bring up many emotions. 07-09-09 19:09:32 __________________________________________________
smileformeHEY ::: Favorites fdfdkfnd and yes miyasaki uses a lot of things only japanese people can really understand(tu es francais?)I read that in this movie ayao criticize the consumtion society ,for exemple when her parents turn into pigs, and when the man with the mask give her money to buy her friendship.I'm not sure about that one,but it's seems to me that the train scene reprensents the moment when chihiro become more mature,I don't know why but there is something magic with this scene,it makes me nostalgic 07-09-09 17:57:06 __________________________________________________
smileformeHEY ::: Favorites AAMLfan on one interview, miyazaki said that after the war, people were homeless, they seemed to be shadows, everyone was looking for family, and some people came back home alone, they were like shadow because they lost everything and part of their identities.Miyazaki was born few years after war,its something you can see in his movie, with also this importance he gice to environments and details. 07-09-09 17:41:15 __________________________________________________
