Like so many times in the history of the Middle East, the Arabs chose violence and war against Jews, and every time - they lost... And when you lose, you also lose land and property, like in ANY war ANYWHERE in our world. I guess what you're saying that the attacker, when he lost, is entitled to reverse it all, lose nothing, get all his loses back... I don't think that's how our world is run. Do you?

"the events you cite don't justify the creation of Israel by force." ---- Israel was created to become a refuge for Jews who were persecuted and massacred in Europe AND IN ARAB COUNTRIES TOO.... It was not created by force. late 1800s and early 1900s Jews were settling on VACANT LAND. Nobody stole no land from no locals. But the ENVYING locals started harassing Jews, attacking their women, which gradually grew into an all-out onslaught against Jews everywhere in the late 20s, early 30s.

"for all we know the al-aqsa mosque might have been attacked." --- if you elect to ever believe anything the Arabs claim, you might as well believe them claiming Jews have been spreading the AIDS virus among their Palestinian neigbors... Or that Christians have INVITED Muslim militants to take refuge during the standoff at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem in April 2002... Or that the Jews have been slaughtering Christian kids for their blood to be used in baking their Passover bread...

i will not continue bickering back and forth about little events. my opinion is firm that the Palestinian people have been severely wronged over the years. i do not know the force that motivates you to post this stuff. but i know that i am a good person, and i know that i do not wish harm on anyone.but i think that the world should recognize the horrible things that have happened to the Palestinian people.

you can cite your own one sided sources, just as i can mine. families were handed compensation. look it up. and for all we know the al-aqsa mosque might have been attacked. we were not there. the truth is more than likely in the middle somewhere. the events you cite don't justify the creation of Israel by force. don't act like the Palestinians fled without anyone pushing them. the settlers in Israel do not deserve to live there.

One Arab comes to Hebron spreading the rumor that the Jews are to attack the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem -- and the massacre of the jews erupts... The SAME EXACT MOB HYSTERIA that years later led tens of thousands of Arabs to FLEE their homes when the Jews were advancing, all based on the hysteric rumors that the Jews are to butcher them all... The Arabs just couldn't believe that the Jews would not do to them, what THEY have done to the Jews...

"195 Arabs and 34 Jews were sentenced by the courts" --- which has nothing to do with the Hebron massacre in particular, but with the other riots that were intiated by Arabs in other places in the land, like Safed, Moza, Kfar Uriyah, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. "families were also compensated to some degree. BY THE ARAB AUTHORITY of the city." -- I would like to know where did you get this piece of information...

The fact the Jews were the Inteligentsia in Hebron is not MY invention, and doesn't mean I'm indicating the local Arabs to be inferior, as you try to insinuate. When you attack and kill the engineers, doctors, bankers, teachers in your community, you DESTROY your own community life. And they were not rendomly killed, they were attacked because they were Jews, even though there was never a problem between them and the local Muslims before.

it can also be added that they (jews) were a minority of less than 1000 people in a city of more than 20,000 people. and they had lived there peacefully alongside the "lower class unintellectual uneducated"(sarcasm) ARABS for GENERATIONS. the only racist one is you.

if it was so TYPICAL, then how could they have been living there for GENERATIONS? the Arabs who partook in the killing of 67 in Hebron thought that the al-Aqsa Mosque was to be attacked and retaliated. it is ridiculous to act as if they were just randomly killed. not no mention: 195 Arabs and 34 Jews were sentenced by the courts, Death sentences were handed down to 17 Arabs and 2 Jews. families were also compensated to some degree. BY THE ARAB AUTHORITY of the city.
