Description:
Unfortunately I never got to play the pnp version of Darksun. My group got into it just as we all parted ways. Still, I did enjoy the two PC games made for it (Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager). They were the last true turn based D&D RPGs on the PC we'd see until Pool of Radiance 2 (Which stunk) and ToEE (Which is great once you apply the mods). It was the end of an era, and it still brings a tear to my eye when I play it. I hope one day someone picks up the license and makes another game with it. I know of one company that is making a new Darksun online: http://dso.zidev.com/index.html |
